St. Paddy’s Day Tribute

Hi guys, so today I wanted to do something a little different. In light of it being St Patrick’s Day, I wanted to write a tribute for someone very important to me who was a true green blooded Irish man and celebrated today like Christmas. Only about a week ago my uncle Roger passed away. He was only in his 40’s. It was very tragic, but in this post I want to celebrate him. The first thing I want to celebrate is that he married my wonderful aunt Jackie (my dads little sister) and gave her two incredible kids, Roger III and Jacklynbabes. They are the sweetest kids and I love them dearly. The next is that both he and Jackie were a huge part of my adolescence and a huge influence on the person I am today. We have had so many wonderful times together I couldn’t possibly count. I also want to say that he was just a very loving person. He loved Jackie and the babies dearly. He also loved me and my sisters and everyone else in the family he married into, like we were his own. He was very kind, even to total strangers, he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it more. The very last thing I want to say is that if it wasn’t for Roger I never would have met my boyfriend and the love of my life and I’m forever grateful. So I’m not drinking tonight, but if you are, raise a glass to Roger. I miss you. I love you.
